Local Hairstylist Attends Exclusive Training
To Learn Latest Trends in Hairstyling, Haircutting & Techniques
– For a hairstylist, education does not end when they finish cosmetology school. To be successful, they must constantly stay on top of the latest trends, techniques and styles in addition to learning how to grow their business. To do this, Paragould-based hairstylist Shae Murphy from Rouge Spa and Salon in Paragould attended an exclusive by invitation-only training from July offered by world-renown Sexy Hair, a professional hair care company known for its quality products and bold colors.
Attending this training was important for me because they help me to think outside of the box and get out of my comfort zone, while also keeping me up to date with all the latest trends. These trainings keep me motivated to learn and do more, while bringing exciting new skills to my clients and fellow stylists, says Murphy.
“Sexy Hair understands the importance of advance education for hairstylists and supporting entrepreneurship,” said Stephanie Polansky, Director of Education for Sexy Hair. “Our education program aims to train, empower and excite our amazing educators such as Shae to help them reach their professional goals and motivate them through their journey.”
The Sexy Hair training included specialized business sessions to help improve their customer service, business management and presentation skills in addition to learning two new haircuts from the company’s latest collection.
One of the perks of attending this training is that attendees get a sneak peek at Sexy Hair’s newest product in the pipeline. In this training they learned about the Sexy Hair Bond-ing Anti-Breakage System, an innovative new breakage prevention system that allows stylists to lighten clients’ hair while minimizing the damage in the process. The new product will be available starting August 2016.
